The name Mud Spire (literal translation for ‘mitti se prerit’), which means inspired by our roots, came into being from the sheer love and admiration for India’s rich cultural heritage and distinctive craftsmanship. At Mud Spire what inspires our creations are the timeless techniques of hand embroidery and hand painting which have been passed down for centuries in India.
Our Mission
Rooted in the concept of slow fashion and made by hand, we create fewer designs with greater intention. These begin with stories that we want to share and keeping resharing and are inspired by things like nature, travel, culture of our land and the world at large today reflecting our travel.
We understand the importance of being a part of your big and small joys and memories and so every stitch and brush stroke are carefully pondered on before bringing to life so that every piece becomes worthy of belonging not just for a season but for a lifetime. Amalgamating traditional silhouettes and the taste of the modern woman, our pieces are created honoring both the old and new, so there is something for everyone.

We at Mud Spire also strive to create as minimum waste as possible, in our quest for sustainability and try to reuse leftover fabrics for trinkets, pouches and covers for our pieces. Hoping that our pieces will be heirloom and worthy of being worn time and again in an age where more and more garments end up in landfills.
